About this Event
Presented by: Joe Formaggio, Massachusetts Institute of Technology
Abstract: Neutrino oscillation experiments performed throughout the latter half of the twentieth century have yielded valuable information about the nature of neutrinos. The data gathered has provided the first positive evidence for neutrinos having mass, the first alteration of the Standard Model. Yet, the mass scale of neutrinos continues to be experimentally elusive. My talk will present the most recent results and ongoing future efforts to measure the mass scale of neutrinos.
