PISEC Outreach Info Session

The Partnerships for Informal Science Education in the Community (PISEC) has connected CU students to local schools and schoolkids for 10 years. As a PISEC mentor, you'll gain valuable experience and training in scientific communication, mentorship, and pedagogy—all while having fun doing hands-on activities with excited kids!  We would love to share more info with you at a PISEC Informational Meeting the first two weeks of the semester.  And did we mention there's free pizza?  Come to one of the meetings:

  • Thursday, Aug. 30, 5pm, JILA X317
  • Wednesday, Sept. 5, 5pm, DUAN G1B31 "Cookie Room"
  • Thursday, Sept. 6, 5pm, JILA X317

We'll cover everything you need to know about PISEC to get involved while feeding you delicious pizza. Questions? Can't attend but want to know more?  Email the PISEC Director Mike Bennett at michael.bennett@colorado.edu.

Be a part of PISEC history as we start our 10th year of service to CU and Boulder County schools! See you at the info session!
