In this RC Short Course*, Amazon AWS Solutions Architect Sudheer Manubolu will provide an overview of AWS services for research and how AWS ParallelCluster can be used for research workloads. Participants will build an AWS ParallelCluster, run a magnetohydrodynamics (MHD) simulation using MPI with the Slurm scheduler on the HPC cluster, and visualize the simulation results, all in a Jupyter Notebook.

Participants will receive an AWS account to use for the workshop.
