Join us for an engaging workshop on how to handle microaggressions. Explore the pros and cons of responding in accommodating (i.e., polite) versus resistant (i.e., impolite) ways, grounded in the field of rhetoric and communication. Discuss common microaggressions faced by AAPI racial and ethnic groups and brainstorm practical strategies and language to address them, based on our own experiences here at CU Boulder.
Hosted by the Department of Writing and Rhetoric and the Center for Inclusion and Social Change.
