RIO Rising Early-Career Faculty Webinar Series, DARPA Young Faculty Award

The Research & Innovation Office is excited to present the “Rising Early-Career Faculty Webinar Series,” providing faculty with the knowledge, resources and skills needed to secure prestigious federal awards. Through expert guidance, proposal support and workshops focused on specific career opportunities, the goal is to advance early-career faculty work and build a foundation for a fruitful academic career.

The first program to be featured is the DARPA Young Faculty Award, which is expected to have a late November 2023 deadline for executive summaries. Alaa Ahmed, a previous DARPA Young Faculty Award recipient, will share tips for success and be joined by Amber Cassady of Lewis-Burke, a government relations firm in DC who provides support to CU Boulder. Amber manages the firm’s national security portfolio.
