RIO Workshop: Communicating the Impact of Faculty Research, Scholarship, and Creative Work

Current threats to traditional funding streams, growing competition for available funds, and increased attacks on science and higher education make communicating the value of university research, scholarship and creative works more important than ever.

In this workshop, university faculty and staff with expertise in successfully communicating the impact of university discoveries and creations will help you develop communication strategies and tactics to get your work the visibility it deserves. You’ll learn information, techniques, tips and resources that will help ensure that your work is framed optimally, shared with the right audiences and creates the impact you seek.

Following the presentation, there will be time for Q&A, and time for you to network with other faculty and staff. Lunch is provided.

Space is limited, so register now! RSVPs are due by May 9.

This workshop is eligible to meet PI Academy program requirements.
