RMACC Women in HPC: A Community Conversation on Work Life Balance During COVID

The COVID-19 pandemic has significantly changed the way that we live and work. Whether caregiving, managing a household, managing remote learning for our children, or socializing, the transition to working from home can be difficult, complicated, and stressful.

Now more than ever, finding a “work-life balance” is important. The transition to remote employment has left many feeling the effects of the pandemic - overwhelmed, overworked, burnt out, or stressed out.

Join RMACC Women in HPC Chapter’s April “community conversation” to discuss the challenges of managing work-life balance during a global pandemic and share your best practices for navigating this difficult time.

What is the purpose of our Community Conversations?

Our community conversations are intended to raise awareness about topics that impact diversity, equity, and inclusion in our community. We invite attendees to share experiences, learn from each other, provide advice and feedback as well as share best practices.

Who should attend?

Everyone! Our events and activities are open to everyone! The diversity in our attendance adds to the diversity of our discussions.

What will the format of this Community Conversation be?

We will provide a brief overview of the topic and then open up the floor for discussion and questions. You are invited to participate in any way that is most comfortable for you. Feel free to email crdds@colorado.edu ahead of time with questions or comments.
