Join us on Friday and Saturday, April 11 and 12, for our 16th Annual Graduate Student Conference from the Department of Spanish and Portuguese! This year, you can educate yourself in numerous presentations and conversations about linguistics, education, culture, and literature. This event will be a place of education and community for everyone interested in language, especially Spanish, Portuguese, and indigenous languages of the Americas.

Our keynote presenters Dr. Adam Coon and Dr. Jessica Sanchez Flores will present on "Approaches to Nahua/Indigenous literatures in Mexico." The undergraduate panel will include heritage speaker stories from CU undergrads, as well as presentations about undergrads' research. On Friday, you can build your own Dadaist poem in the workshop at the end of the day! Both days also feature talks with Zapotec and Nahua poets (Irma Pineda and Martín Tonalmeyotl) and their translators. This event is free!
