Abstract: Interactions happen often in daily life, yet we often ignore or misinterpret them in our statistical models. For example, if you are studying age, income and gender in some population, have you considered that the age vs. income curve is often different for women and men. Statistically, we would say that age, income and gender interact. If you only include age, income and gender in the model, omitting the interaction, you may reduce the p-values for your model.
