About this Event
With Maggie Reardon, Henry Li, William Frantz and Julius Arnold, CTL Leads
As graduate student teachers, we hold office hours to give students a space to ask questions, receive help and connect with the course material on a deeper level. However, it is often unclear to students what office hours are meant for and why they should attend. This workshop aims at all disciplines as an opportunity to discuss area-specific challenges faced during office hours. In this interactive session, we will brainstorm clear outcomes for office hours, discuss strategies for increasing attendance, managing large student groups and making office hours more productive for students and instructors.
This event is in-person and space is limited. RSVP to join us on Monday, September, 30 from 10-11 a.m. MT
