 this month at Upslope Brewing Company (East Boulder)\, the event creates a
  relaxed\, welcoming space for dialogue\, curiosity\, and connection with 
 the broader Boulder community.\n\nRather than a traditional academic lectu
 re\, this series is designed to feel like a conversation: thought provokin
 g\, accessible\, and grounded in real world impact. Each month features re
 searchers and practitioners sharing ideas that connect complex research to
  everyday life.\n\nThis Month's Featured Speakers:\n\nEve Hinckley: Biogeo
 chemist and lead of the Environmental Biogeochemistry Group\, Eve-Lyn stud
 ies how human activity alters the fundamental processes of life on Earth. 
 From California croplands to the peaks of Patagonia\, her team uses isotop
 e geochemistry and data analysis to track the health of fragile ecosystems
 . She is also a dedicated advocate for diversifying STEM education and men
 toring undergraduate researchers.Danielle Beatty: A graduate researcher in
  the Living Materials Laboratory\, Danielle focuses on using microorganism
 s to grow sustainable\, biologically derived building materials. Her work 
 aims to reduce the environmental footprint of the construction industry by
  reimagining materials design—from raw sourcing to end-of-life reuse.Joi
