Join the Sustainable Buffs community for a movie night where we will be watching “Wings Over Water” by Andrew Young. The movie showcases the epic migrations of Sandhill Cranes, Yellow Warblers, and Mallard Ducks across North America's vital Prairie Pothole wetlands, highlighting their struggles and the conservation efforts needed for these ecosystems. We’ll be serving pizza during the movie and will be holding a Q&A with a Professor Scott Taylor. Professor Scott Taylor is a professor whose research focuses on bird hybridization and speciation, using genomics and field experiments to study how evolutionary processes and human-driven change, like climate change, shape species interactions and distributions.
