Postponed: President's Sustainable Solutions Challenge Boulder Campus Pitch Night

NOTE THIS EVENT IS HAPPENING VIRTUALLY AS THE BUFFS SUSTAINABLE SOLUTIONS COMPETITION. Winners of the Buffs Sustainable Solutions Competition in Spring 2020 will be eligible to enter the CU System-wide President's Sustainable Solutions Challenge now postponed to Spring 2021.

The CU President’s Office invites students to present their ideas for sustainable innovations and solutions for the University of Colorado System and its Campuses in competition for a cash prize.

The 50th Anniversary of Earth Day and the CU Environmental Center will be celebrated with the first CU President’s Sustainable Solutions Challenge (PSSC). PSSC is a competition series that seeks to encourage student led innovation in sustainability on CU campuses or through the CU system.

Come to the PSSC Boulder Proposal Workshop on March 12 to build teams, share ideas and refine your idea or pitch with campus sustainability staff.

The Boulder Campus Pitch Night will feature pitches from the top 10 selected teams or individuals with ideas for the Boulder campus and/or the CU System who submit a proposal by April 1.

The winner of the Boulder Pitch night will be awarded a $1000 cash prize and the top two teams will advance to the PSSC Grand Prize Competition on April 22 to compete with teams from other campuses on April 22. Student teams will present their ideas to a panel of expert judges with experience in sustainability.
