We hope you will join us as the CU Symphonic Band presents our final concert of the Fall 2022 semester. Titled “Smoke and Mirrors,” this program features pieces containing a connection to music that has been re-thought, restated or ‘re-composed.’ There are moments in every piece that are presented in foggy iterations and manipulated/updated/orchestrated from earlier music, either in previous moments in the piece itself or from different source material altogether. This is the genesis of the phrase “Smoke and Mirrors.”

From orchestras, bands and choirs to jazz, world music and opera to world-class faculty and guest performances, the CU Boulder College of Music brings hundreds of stunning performances to Boulder audiences throughout the academic year.
