This training is designed for instructors and staff who are ready to start developing the foundation for their courses in Canvas. Topics covered in this two-hour, slower and more hands on version of the Introduction to Teaching with Canvas training include: basic course navigation, communicating with students through Canvas, managing course content and quick gradebook setup, and using Canvas support. By the end of this session, participants will be able to:

• Navigate Canvas using the Global Navigation Menu, the Dashboard, and the Course Navigation Menu.
• Communicate with students through Announcements, the Inbox, and Notifications.
• Upload and organize course materials using Modules.
• Create graded items in Assignments.
• Access Canvas support.
