This training is designed for instructors and staff interested in a comprehensive overview of Canvas features and functionalities. This 90-minute training covers course navigation, communicating with students, managing course content, using the gradebook, Canvas support, and more. Facilitated by Megan Kitts, Learning Technology Consultant.

Learning Objectives:

  • Effectively navigate the Canvas system
  • Add and organize course materials
  • Customize course and account settings
  • Communicate with students using Announcements and Inbox
  • Create course activities using Assignments, Quizzes, and Discussions
  • Enter grades and grade student work in Canvas
  • Manage the Calendar and use the Attendance tool
