This training is designed for faculty and staff seeking to create more engaging, aesthetically pleasing, and easier to navigate courses in Canvas. Cidi Labs Design Tools are a suite of Canvas tools that greatly expands aesthetic design and course navigation customization options, and enhances student experience in Canvas courses.

• Use Design Tools to create intuitive home pages
• Add and edit content blocks in Design Tools to structure course pages
• Apply and modify pre-designed page themes
• Add and edit navigation Links and style images to pages
• Utilize expanders, accordions, and tabs to style content
• Use Design Tools’ accessibility tools to evaluate pages
