The Inclusive Community of Practice (ICoP) meets monthly to connect equity-minded folks on campus to develop inclusive practices and policies in the classroom through sharing and curation of existing and collaboratively developed knowledge. 

This month our topic is Emergent Strategies to Navigate Change Equitably. Change is inevitable, and we are in a time of abundant change. Emergent strategies are ways for humans to practice complexity and grow the future through relatively simple interactions (brown, p.20). Presenters Blair Young and Amanda McAndrew will lead a discussion on the tenets of Emergent Strategy from adrienne maree brown’s book, Emergent Strategy: Shaping Change, Changing Worlds. Together, participants will co-develop actionable take-aways for navigating change in higher education and beyond. All are welcome!
