Teaching a large course at CU with over 100+ students? Please join us for The Large Course Community of Practice (LCCOP). It is a space to share ideas, resources, and discuss the implementation of ideas with fellow faculty. Based on pedagogically supporting techniques, tools, and strategies, and CUB’s Improving Large Courses Initiative, the LCCOP has data-driven and tested techniques to help improve student engagement, retention, and learning in large classes. These meetings are also a space to simply network and see how these resources can apply to your course as time and effort allows. The LCCOP will have 2 in-person events and 2 virtual meetings (Zoom) per semester for faculty to meet and generate ideas to assemble onto a Canvas course page and discuss any application of these resources with support from the CTL.
