A first-timer's introduction to a beloved holiday classic.

New this season — not the full-length production

What to expect :

Curious about The Nutcracker but not sure where to start? This is your invitation. The Nutcracker Suite is a thoughtfully shortened version of the beloved holiday ballet — designed for first-time theatergoers, young audiences, and anyone who's looking for a taste of tradition.

You'll still get Tchaikovsky's iconic score performed live by the Boulder Philharmonic Orchestra, Boulder Ballet's exquisite dancing, and the theatrical magic that has made The Nutcracker a holiday tradition for generations — all in a gentler, more accessible format that's the perfect introduction to the art form.

What's included with your ticket:

• Meet-the-character opportunities with photo moments
• First Time Nutcracker Field Guide — a fun, kid-friendly explanation of the story, characters, and what to watch for.
• Special added experiences to enrich your visit (stay tuned for Nut Suite exclusive opportunities)

Looking for the full-length production? Boulder Ballet's complete Nutcracker performances are also available this season.

Macky Auditorium Ticket Services is The Nutcracker official ticket agent. Tickets purchased through third parties may not be honored.
