Honor Native American Heritage month and prepare for the nearing election by joining the Boulder Public Library for a lecture and discussion on the history of Native American's access to the polls and the tremendous power of the Indigenous vote. Learn from Colorado Law Professor Christina Stanton about the laws, advocacy and modern movements to increase Native America's participation in elections. Native American Rights Fund Attorney Allison Neswood will discuss the ongoing fights to defend Native American voting rights in the courts. There will be information on how to support national and local efforts to ensure that everyone who wants to vote is able. Light refreshments provided.
