In this talk, George Rivera, professor in the CU Department of Art and Art History, will share highlights of his professonal trajectory in the diverse roles he has played through the years as a scholar and as an internationally recognized mixed media artist. His work focuses on the Mexican/Chicano experience in the United States and produces art pieces in digital art, sound art and video. This presentation includes selected examples of his art and his international work with the Artnauts, an art collective that he founded in 1996.
