Thriving in the First Year: What I Wish I Had Known (teaching & clinical track faculty)
Thriving at CU is a monthly workshop series for tenure track and teaching/clinical faculty who are in their first three years at CU Boulder. Meet other new faculty and get your questions answered! Participation in at least 8 “Thriving at CU” sessions over your first three years will earn you a faculty development certificate.
Thriving in the First Year: What I Wish I Had Known: We will focus on ways that new teaching and clinical faculty can find greater success in their first years at CU. Hear our panelists share some of the challenges they faced during their first couple of years at CU. They'll offer a few tangible (and memorable) suggestions that participants might benefit from as they acclimate to their new faculty positions. A 20-minute open discussion/Q&A with participants follows.
