Our modern society definitely stands on the shoulders of giants, but we also sit upon a throne of waste. Campus and community members are invited to the opening of CU Museum’s new “Throwns of Waste” exhibit highlighting the final projects from CU Boulder's Civil Engineering (CVEN #4834/5544) “Solid Waste” course. Seven CU students will provide a short introduction regarding the construction of their thrones – fabricated out of common waste materials – and share their thoughts on the materials they chose. Light refreshments will be served. Masks are required inside the CU Museum regardless of vacinnation status.
