About this Event
In response to the growing emphasis on open and reproducible research in the applied research community, developers have published a variety of useful tools and packages that facilitate reproducibility and transparent communication in research that uses the R programming language. This workshop offers a hands-on tour of the reproducible and open research ecosystem in R. Topics covered include project-based workflows, literate programming with Quarto, and the renv package for managing package versions and dependencies. Participants will become acquainted with the general landscape of reproducibility tools in R, and gain practice in using some of these tools to make their own work more transparent and reproducible. All are welcome, but the workshop presupposes elementary prior knowledge of the R programming language and familiarity with R Studio.
Registration is required. Zoom information will be sent in the confirmation email.
