About this Event
2200 Colorado Avenue, Boulder, CO 80309
https://libraries.colorado.edu/culture-crawlParticipants can do one or both activities with the artists of "Topophilia", the current map exhibition. Time for each activity: approximately 10-20 minutes.
1. Participants will choose a postcard size map remnant of their liking and embellish with pre-carved animal and plant icons/symbols using block print method, printed by hand or with small hand press which will be provided. Participants can then embellish their card and choose to send in an envelope or take with them with print-maker Johanna Mueller.
2. Participants will create a quick-dry clay object with textured map imagery which can be used as a pendant, charm, or other decorative object with ceramicist Rita Vali.
