UROP’s Curiosity Lab virtual workshops are open to all undergraduates interested in exploring opportunities for experiential learning.

In this “First Gen. Focused” session, Director of the Office of Top Scholarships and proud first generation graduate, Deborah Viles joins UROP’s Curiosity Lab to highlight some of the most selective national and international scholarships—and how she helps students (you) prepare thoughtful and compelling applications. 

Deborah will share her story with UROP’s Director Tim O’Neil—also a first generation graduate. We’ll then lead a discussion about how to prepare and apply for scholarships you probably haven’t considered. Hint: Undergraduate research is usually a good idea.
