This workshop discusses Optional Practical Training (OPT) for students with F-1 visa status. OPT allows students who have completed their degree (graduate students who have completed coursework but have not yet defended or submitted a thesis/dissertation are also eligible) to be employed in the United States for one year after completion of studies.
