Interested in designing games or just love playing them? Then come to this fun and informative festival that offers conference-goers a chance to sample experimental tabletop and electronic games as well as learn about the art form of game design through speakers, panels and workshops.

Keynote speakers include gamemakers Pippin Barr and Mattie Brice. Barr is assistant professor in the Department of Design and Computation Arts at Concordia University in Montréal, where he directs the Technoculture, Art and Games (TAG) Research Center. Barr also wrote the book, "How to Play a Video Game."  Brice is an independent video game designer, critic, and industry activist whose games and writings focus on diversity initiatives in the games industry.

Registration is required. The event is sponsored by the ATLAS Institute and CU Boulder's Engineering Excellence Fund.
