As generative AI becomes more integrated into how students learn and produce work, educators are rethinking how to assess learning in meaningful and secure ways. Join us as we introduce and explore the concept of “authentic assessments,” tasks that mirror real-world challenges and require learners to apply knowledge in meaningful ways. Participants will gain an understanding of authentic assessment, explore how AI is transforming assessments, and learn strategies to design assessments that promote critical thinking and learner agency.
