DESCRIPTION:As generative AI becomes more integrated into how students lear
 n and produce work\, educators are rethinking how to assess learning in mea
 ningful and secure ways. Join us as we introduce and explore the concept of
  “authentic assessments\,” tasks that mirror real-world challenges and requ
 ire learners to apply knowledge in meaningful ways. Participants will gain 
 an understanding of authentic assessment\, explore how AI is transforming a
 ssessments\, and learn strategies to design assessments that promote critic
 al thinking and learner agency.\n\nThis session was created in a partnershi
 p between CE's Learning Design Group (LDG) and the Center for Teaching and
