About this Event
On March 1st, join a global conversation about our shared futures! World Futures Day - Young Voices connects generations worldwide for meaningful dialogue. Join a session led by two ENVD students and staff from the Environmental Center.
Hosted by Teach the Future, this workshop highlights groundbreaking research on 'Biogenic' materials and their applications participants will apply the examples and inspiration into a design charrette. After the short presentations, there will be three scopes to play with are 1) large (cities, parks, plazas), 2) medium (homes, offices, stores) and 3) small (clothes, parks, plazas). Facilitators will use miro boards to collectively capture ideas and for the groups to share and reflect on. This is a hopeful and fun exploration of how materials shaping our built environment might look in 75 years based on the research of today.
