Yoga Nidra is a deeply restful practice, like a guided shivasana, the restorative yoga pose that promotes relaxation and integration. Just 30 minutes of this practice is said to be equivalent to two hours of restful sleep. Doing this practice before dinner may also help with digestion by reducing tension.
