You’re invited! Student presentations and Anthropology exhibit opening!

Graduate and undergraduate students in Dr. Jen Shannon’s Cultural Anthropology Collections Research (ANTH #4470/5470) course are examining and investigating cultural items from CU’s esteemed Anthropology Collection. Starting in mid-October, students selected specific items to research and recorded what they learned each week. Join us for an exhibit opening December 9 which will include the final exhibit labels in which the students summarize what they most want the public to know based on months of their research.

Campus and community members are invited to the opening for light refreshments and to meet the students behind the exhibit. Student presentations will start at 6 PM in Paleontology Hall and be approximately 5 minutes each. There will also be a group Q&A session. Please come early or stay a little late to view the exhibit. Please note: masks are required inside the CU Museum regardless of vaccination status.
